Ekrima International Company for Trading and Investments was established in 1996 by the Sudanese businessman Al Hadi Hassan Elfadel. Since its inception, the company has been recognized as one of the leading companies in the field of trade and investment, striving to provide high-quality products and services while continuously expanding its activities across various sectors.
As part of its industrial expansion, the company’s founder was among the first to enter the ceramics industry in Sudan. This led to the establishment of the Sudanese RAK Ceramics Factory in 2003 in the Modern Industrial Area in Bahri, contributing to the development of the industrial sector and meeting the needs of the local market with high-quality products.
Since its establishment, the company has continued to operate with a vision focused on producing, marketing, and supporting high-quality products, while maintaining a strong commitment to investing in the development of its various industries and quality systems. "Mr. AlHadi Hassan Elfadel is the Chairman and CEO of Ekrima International Company for Trade and Investment Ltd and the company's founder. He is a well-known businessman in Sudan with over 30 years of experience in the tiles and ceramics industry."
"In 1990, he worked in the cargo shipping sector, operating shipments from Sharjah to Amsterdam, Sanaa, and Khartoum."
"In 1991, Mr. Al Hadi entered into a joint venture with RAK Ceramics, UAE, importing ceramic tiles to Sudan and neighboring countries."
"In 2000, he established the first ceramics factory in Sudan in partnership with RAK Ceramics UAE. The factory included two production lines with a capacity of 24,000 square meters per day, a carton factory, a crusher, a 13-megawatt power station, and a gas station."
"In 2005, he founded Hala Air, which operated domestic flights and became one of the most successful airlines in Sudan, capturing more than 90% of the domestic aviation market."
"In 2011, he established the first porcelain factory in Sudan, named ALMASA, with a production capacity of 10,000 square meters per day."
"In 2017, he established another ceramics factory called AL MADINA, with a production capacity of 12,000 square meters per day. Later, in 2021, he established a carton factory, which is now ready for production."
